animezerotierlist.com is an unofficial fan site for Anime Zero, the Roblox action RPG published by LY*. It is made by the same team as pokesurvivortierlist.com. It does one job: show where the public community tier lists agree on the game’s weapons, and where they don’t, on a board you can rearrange and share.
What you’ll find here
- The Anime Zero tier list: the community median on an SS to D board, with each list’s own tier one tap away.
- My list: drag weapons into your own order, share it as a link or save it as an image.
- The best build, the pair bonuses and the Update 4 changes, each with its sources.
How we build the tier list
We don’t rank weapons by our own opinion, and we can’t test anything in game. The default board is worked out from published tier lists with the rules below, by a script that runs on every build of the site.
Which lists count
- A list counts for weapons only when it gives its own ranking of the current weapons; today that means every weapon up to Update 3, as no counted list has ranked the Update 4 weapons yet. Several articles or videos by the same site or creator count once.
- Today 3 lists count: Destructoid, MrGuider and animezerowiki.com.
- Older lists that miss current weapons are shown as “context, not counted”. A list we haven’t read yet, or whose tiers we can’t yet read or map onto SS to D, doesn’t count until we can.
- Two lists that look copied from one another still count once each, with a note saying so; if copying is confirmed, they merge into one vote.
Turning each list into SS to D
We store every list’s labels exactly as published, then map them to one scale: SSS counts as SS and F counts as D. Every other letter stays the same.
The median
- Take the mapped tiers of the counted lists that rank the weapon.
- With fewer than two, the weapon stays Unranked, as new weapons do until the lists catch up.
- Sort them from best to worst and take the middle one. With an even number of lists, take the lower of the two middle tiers: a weapon only moves up when more than half of the lists put it there or higher.
- Inside a tier, weapons with the better average placement come first.
Consensus labels
- Strong: every counted list gives the same tier.
- 2 of 3 (or any “N of M”): that many lists give the median tier.
- Disputed: the best and the worst placement are two or more tiers apart. The weapon’s details then show the full split.
When the game updates
New weapons go to Unranked until two counted lists place them. Facts such as stats or how to get a weapon are corrected from their sources; we don’t move a weapon on our own judgment. The tier list shows the date we last checked the sources and the game version they cover.
Where our facts come from
Game facts come from the Anime Zero page on Roblox, the public Roblox game record and the guides listed in the Sources section of the tier list, each with its date and the version it covers. We write everything in our own words. We don’t use the game’s logo, icons, screenshots or character art: weapons appear as names, initials and colour blocks, and every image on this site is drawn by us.
